Yet another unthinkable feat has been pulled off by the India’s highest grossing movie ever, 'Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion'. The film, at the end of its three-week theatrical run, has breached the Rs 1,500 crore worldwide gross milestone. As of Thursday, 'Baahubali 2' has collected a whopping 1,227 crore gross in India and another Rs 275 crore gross in overseas, taking the cumulative total to Rs 1,502 crore. 'Baahubali 2' has touched this stellar figure within 21 days of its theatrical release.
'Baahubali 2' has broken several domestic and international box office records since it released on 28 April 2017. It's the fastest Rs 100 crore earner in Tamil Nadu; one of Kerala's highest grossing films; and its Hindi version alone collected a neat Rs 500 crore. It was also the first Indian film to cross Rs 1,000 crore in worldwide box office collections. The film will now set its eyes on the Rs 2,000 crore gross milestone, with the international releases on the anvil soon.
